advice for phone w/good volume/reception/navigation

I am looking for a new Sprint phone. It would be great to have navigation and live search that I have seen on the Instinct (and on the Voyager with Verizon). I don't care about streaming tv and such. Being able to check email would be great, but I'm not looking for great web browsing. The Instinct was great for the navigation and messaging but has problems with volume and certain settings. Does anyone know if the Sanyo 700 Pro has navigation with text-to-speech, live search, and adequate volume and reception? Or has anyone had a good experience with any of the Katana phones that have these features? I'm especially looking for input from people who have hands-on experience with these. Thanks for your help!
