Advice for negotiating with master dealer

    Hey guys,
    I have a meeting next week with a master dealer to open a T-Mobile store. I’ve never had a store before... Always just been a top sales rep working for sub-dealers. What kind of advice can you give me on how to negotiate a good deal? What can I expect? What’s the average commission payouts nowadays? Any help would be appreciated...

    Are you going to rent a retail space for the T-Mobile store?

    If yes, make sure you rent a space that is month by month at first. Don't sign a year lease. If they tell you it has to be a year lease, walk out. They will most likely come back with a month by month rate a slightly higher rate.

    Take it step by step until you're sure the money coming in is greater than the money going out.
