Alltel is in northwest corner of Connecticut, that is probably too far away :(

It would give Verizon native service in a lot of areas especially the midwest where Verizon native coverage is greatly lacking. Even though I love ALLTEL and hope they are not bought up by anyone and stay as competitive as they are, even though like I said, it would fit nicely for Verizon in some areas.

one can hope with the up coming auction, that they are succesful in getting into our area of the country. Of course then they would have a lot of building out to do before having the coverage they need or have a good roaming agreement with Verizon & Sprint while doing the build out. ;)
