    A Friendly Reminder

With the new year, I've asked the moderators be on the lookout for any posting activity that might cause our forums to degrade into an unfriendly environment. We've always been a friendly and open forum, and we all want to keep it that way.

I've asked the mods to step in on any hostile instances of:

    • Trolling
    • Fanboyism
    • Flaming other members
    • Stalking other members
    • Useless posts intended to interrupt good threads
    • Any disrespect to other members or moderators
    • :boxingsmi

I don't think we really have a big problem with any of these; I just want to keep it that way.

We get tons of new members joining everyday. I want those people to feel like they can ask questions and join the discussions no matter what their level of knowledge OR what carrier or phone they like at the moment.

Disagreements and misunderstandings will happen of course, that's OK. Just keep it friendly. If a thread or member goes beyond that, I've reminded the moderators to delete posts, close threads and issue infractions as needed. You will probably see more of those actions from now on. Try not to be offended if any of those happen to you. Its no big deal, just us trying to keep traffic moving smoothly and everybody enjoying the ride.

I think we can all agree that we have an awesome group of people here on the WA forums.

    I hope everyone has a great 2008! :D

Joe sorry to chime in here but I think you need to make this a sticky. Or actually an announcment so it shows up in each forum.

An excellent reminder, Joe. I agree that this thread should be stickied and/or placed as a header in other threads.
