I have a couple questions. I just switched to T-Mobile from the most worthless provider ever Alltell Simple Freedom. Talk about a joke of a wireless service..anyway I have a few questions about t-Mobile service. 1) When using T-Zones to check your account, make account changes ect are you charged any plan minutes for using it? 2) Are calls to customer Care free? I ask because it showed on my bill that I used 6 minutes when i called them. Thanks for any input!!

Checking your account is FREE it doesn't use minutes or KB usage. You're fine. Calls to 611 (Customer Care) are absolutely free as well! :D

The only possible charges you could get from T-Zones is if you ordered ringtones or wallpaper or use the 411 service. All other services such as account information, CNN or ABC news are free.

Calling *8646 (*TOGO) or *3279 (*EASY) is also free. Also, 611 is not direct to T-Mobile To Go customer care. You can get there by keying 611 but it only delays your call since you will be transfered to T-Mobile To Go CC.

Press 0 and hold. You'll connect to T-Zones. If you're on prepaid when the T-Zones menu shows scroll down to "web and appllications." Press the talk/send key. First choice is CNN. Press the talk/send key. You're there.

Press/hold 0 (connecting via GPRS.) Go to T-Mobile Web. Go to News & Weather. Go to CNN. When you scroll to each choice press the "talk/send" key to go to that link. Any other questions?

Correct, although the call does show up on your unbilled call list, but as you noted it doesn't count. :D
