8 more days, but in the last 24 hours reports coming through are less than impressive. Rather than unload on Samsung just yet, I'll wait for the actual device. Right now, if latest rumors are true, I may opt not to get the Note 7. It has gone from a possible stellar device to a piece of junk.

I almost didn't make this post. Since Sunday I've been having intense pain near the upper portion of my liver. After reading symptoms of liver disease/failure, I was pretty sure that organ failure due to leukemia and bone marrow failure was beginning to take its toll. After suffering increasing pain for parts of 4 days, I made an appointment with my primary care physician. After examination, he immediately referred me to ER (in a town about 30 miles away). (good ol' Kaiser.) After a 6-hour stay, with 2 IVs, multiple monitors, an X-ray, sonogram, CT scan, and more, I given the good/bad news. My liver was fine. I have a weird form of pneumonia that causes severe pain, nausea, coughing, lack of appetite (I have been drinking water for the past 4 days and having only one small meal of hot cereal per day).

The ER doctor wanted to admit me to main hospital and told me I probably be kept one or more days. But the admissions doctor overrode the decision and released me. Due to all the pain and antibiotics I was pumped with, the moment I got home (didn't even make it into the house), I got the dry heaves. (I must have really freaked out my neighbors. LOL) Due to lack of proper nourishment, I am still very weak but still have no desire to eat.

 

9to5Google just reported that the phone is not being released on the same day as it's announcement. Rather, the release will come two weeks later. This rumor veins are getting annoying. I no longer know who to believe.

Bummer. Its 1AM and the pain pill I took 2 hours ago, instead of putting me to sleep wired me up.

Late Thursday afternoon, my text messaging stopped working. I gave my Note 3 flying lessons.

 

@palandri: I'll keep it in mind. I do like my ZenWatch2 and I've always been impressed with the PC market. Next Tuesday I'll see what the real scoop is on the Note7.

BTW, thanks for the kind expressions of concern. Spoke to my oncologist yesterday. Although I've been anticipating it, it wasn't good news. Basically, he feels within 18 months I'll be on hospice.

@viewfly: Thanks, but from here on out is a downhill ride and the breaks are out. LOL. Doctor told me I have about one year of something that resembles a quality of life. After that, well, time will tell. I'm not giving up and I'm remaining positive and still setting goals for myself. Just today, I noticed I'm having trouble with my vision. If that is my future, forget getting any phone. I had to close one eye just to see to type this.
