I realize all phones have their quirks, but, just wondering how the stub was handleing things. [IMG]

For me, & I'm in NYC, the stub works just as well as the retractable on my V60c. Some peope hate the V60p, I think its awesome. Usually, when I get a new toy, the initial excitement wears off in a week or so. I love this phone more and more each day. But I do seem to be in the minority on this issue.

The stub antenna is horrible. My Co. now has 10 V60p phones and all of them have complained about the antenna. I ordered some steel retractables and distributed them...they thank me every day. I guess they were trying to avoid the thousands of broken antenna issues at the stores so they went with the stub, but do yourself a favor and replace it.

Off topic: Is VZW customer service the best or what. I'm in construction, so when I crushed by 4 week old V60p I was pretty pissed about not sucking up the $5 for insurance. But guess what...simply walked into the store, showed the tech the phone, he looked up my account and within 5 minutes he had me all set with a new one no questions asked. That's why we spend $1000 a month for Verizon service as oppossed to another carrier where I would've been SOL.

I like the v60p, I wish there was a new firmware version for the v60i, that would take care of the battery meter lieing, and put some animational-icons for the menu items, as the v60p's do. That's great Jrapp, whatever works for you guys! [IMG]. Can you replace the v60p antenna with a v60i retractable?

As I have posted in other threads....many of our members have reported replacing their stub w/ a retractable antenna and receive favorable results. I don't seem to have a problem with the stub!!

Thanks for the info Vdo. I don't really see a problem with it either, but, some do. My "problem" is just that of opinion, not of it's actual usage.
