hey this has been tickin me off for a while, i dont remember settin a security lock code or anything but if i go into the setting and just enter 4 numbers and it will always say invalid lock code. it not affecting my fone in anyway i dont think but its just annoyin the hell outta me. my question is that is there a way to see the security code or change it somehow through the fone or sprint support or something? wth does the lock thing good for anyways?

Yes, I think that sprint can unlock you, they have the right software for that without cost I think [IMG]

and you can do it manualy if you are patient, but maybe you do not have patience

    good luck

By default the lock code is set to the last 4 of your phone#. If that doenst work take it into a Sprint Store and they can extract for you at no cost. The mai reason of the lock code is exactly what youd think it would be for, to lock others out of your handset. It's also useful if you dont want all of your phone numbers in your phone book visible.

Ohh yes, I forgot what lucky says, it is true, they put you the last four digits of your cell phone number for lock code if still does not work, try to enter 0000 and it still does not work, take it to sprint [IMG]

    good luck

    Lock codes normally are

    1) 0000
    2) last 4 digits of your cell phone number
    3) last 4 digits of your social security number.

If none of those work....then take it to a Sprint store [IMG]

    G'luck to you

Let's say you leave your phone in your coat when you go somplace... If you have shady friends ( like I do ) you might want to make sure they aren't using your phone instead of their own. Lock the phone and no one can make calls without unlocking it first. It isn't great security, but it might save you some trouble. This is just one example... TT
