3589i (Verizon) Options

Is there a way to:

1) Put the time on the main screen? (I know it comes on the screensaver...)

2) Prevent the minibrowser from launching when you press the left navigation button from the main screen?

3) Change the main screen banner? I have already tried changing the alpha tag under the NAM 1 'secret' menu with no avail. Did I possibly leave out a step while doing that...?

Go to Menu. Then settings. then Time settings, clock, and it should say show clock. Click on that. It will show the clock in the upper right hand corner of the screen .

There is no way to shut it off or take it completely off but you can stop it from automatically going to it.. asking for confirmation instead to avoid the accidental use of minutes. Go to Menu. Then settings. Then call settings. then scroll down till you get to minibrowser confirmation. It'll give you options to pick..like none, both entering and exiting, exit only, etc. I have mine on both. If you set it..now when the left button gets pressed it'll ask you if you want to continue on the browser.

This one I'm sorry I don't know about. I don't think you can... but some of the people in the forum who are more technical may be able to help you.

Very helpful! Those were the ones that I really wanted to take care of but I would still like to change the banner.
