    The $40 1000 minute nationwide anytime minute plan has already come and gone.... you've missed out [​IMG]

    However, the $50 3000 anytime minute (no weekend minute) regional plan is still here, and you can get it now.

    Chefofthefuture, what are you on about? Take a look at T-Mobile's homepage and put in a California location. The current deal is:

    1000 anytime minutes
    Unlimited weekend minutes
    50 text messages (used for things like VM notifications)
    No roaming within the US
    No long distance within the US
    $39.99

    And for $6.99 you can add unlimited nights (2100 to 0659, that's 9:00pm to 6:59am).

    OTOH, I know many people who signed up for the family plan (800 shared minutes, unlimited mobile-to-mobile, unlimited weekends, no roaming or LD, but you can't add nights to it) and just keep the other phone turned off and in a desk drawer.

    You must be in Los Angeles -- that deal is gone now in the SF/Bay Area (sorry for not better specifying that).
