I called *228 yesterday for activating an added line to my account and I heard:

"Welcome to over the air programming, this call is airtime free.
To program your phone press 1. To update your roaming capabilities 2."

It's the same menu & style as VZW.

No more, "Thank you for calling Alltel, to upgrade your phone's roaming service press 2 now,
to activate your phone press 3 now."

The prompt to activate the phone changed from 3 to 1.

The thing is, I'm divested and should not be hearing the Verizon lady giving me instructions for a
Verizon PRL update, or is this just the new or temporary Alltel OTA menu?

Mine is still the Alltel voice but the options are 1 and 2 also. Odd.

The switches are being upgraded by Regions. Not all areas have been switched to the new OTA programming menu.

It doesn't matter whether you are Divested or Non-Divested in this change.
