1900 Mhz

    I have recently moved to Connecticut and am on at&t. Now i was going to buy the lg prada silver which only uses 1900 mhz how will this work in connecticut.

    put you zip code in the front page of this website. It should tell you what frequencies ATT is licensed to provide service. I don't know if that will answer your question, but it may be a start. Can anyone else verify this theory for me?

    I wouldn't chose a 1900 MHz only phone for use with AT&T Mobility. You can find a map of their single band coverage at the GSM Forum, an industry association.

    NOT RECOMMENDED. Don't complain here when your coverage sucks with that phone.

    If you're dead set on a 1900MHz-only phone, forget about AT&T, use T-Mobile instead.
