    lg vx4400 always shows charging

    I'd say you're probabaly screwed. Your best bet is to let it DRY THOUROUGHLY without the battery in it. Every second it's on is just an opurtunity...

    Are you sure that it is actually completely charged when it says it is? Have you taken a drained battery, charged it for the one hour, then used...
