It's simple: Goto: Menu > 0 > 000000 (the code is all 0's) > force mode > CDMA only. You'll never goto analog.

My VX4400 will beep regularly if I have voicemail waiting/missed calles. Obviously it won't if you have it in any of the manner modes.
