open the phone and hold the * key.. it will then enter silient mode... then hold the * again and it should return to normal mod

i'm pretty sure the only difference between the two is the 4400b has a blue cover on it instead of the the little silver thing that the 4400 has

i like all the extra features the 4500 has too. But, I think the 4500 would be cooler though if the outter screen changed colors like the 4400.
