I Believe that the plans listed showed unlimited PTT Minutes if u read the arcticle and you guys don't forget to sign up before Dec 31, 2003 so...
PTT was only available in the New England region on the Verizon Wireless website.

i am not sure if u can use the speakerphone button as a smart button but i am pretty sure that ther is no longer a smart button.
