If you want a speakerphone, 4500 is the only choice. Driving mode on the 4500 is also very nice. Can't live without it now. :-)
You should be able to return the 4400b to a local store and get a 4500 directly from the store. I did the same for the v60s that didn't work out...
As far as I can tell, it's as good as the Motorola v60i that I had. For this phone, RF shouldn't be a concern at all.

the speakerphone drains a lot of power, so if you don't need the speakerphone v60s is probably as good as a v60i (which is excellent)....
