They traded spectrum for it. US Cellular is TDMA/AMPS there. I figure they have plans to build a GSM network.
I think this is the correct assumption.
Alltel is still building out in this area. I know they have a new site in Enterprise, but I'm not sure if it's on the air yet.
Can she do a customer on the move? They don't sell Cingular here so they might let her out of her contract.

You are correct about the bands, but the C band is split with AT&T and PSC. PSC does have cell sites and they are taking traffic. I am 100%...
PSC does have cell sites in Dothan. Two in fact. I have roamed on them before and called a number that doesn't exist and get their customer...
This is so true with VS. At least with AT&T, you can roam.
