i am pretty sure the speakerphone is full duplex.. half duplex would only allow you to hear the phone, not talk back into it. maybe i am wrong..
i am sure you could "pick up" a copy of outlook if you wanted to..
i just wish they would re-add the hotmail feature on, and the ability to customize what comes up on the first menu..
