What the heck are you thinking? Are you forgeting the cellular technologies are compleatly diffrent.
Your problem is not with the phone it is with the network. the phone is great, but GSM is really new. the network is only good in certain areas....

The ring tones are great. and its 40 polyphonic sound with the 720. donno about the t100
the 19D is very new and the rollout will be slow since 19C hasen't reached tomany people 19 is going to 50 times harder to get.
there is no expanding the screen the black border is an illusion its actualy a part of the outer cover. silver edge then black edge then screen....
verticle line yes my T720 .17P does that too I donno why but is seems like it does it in some menus and not others or its just not as noticeable?...

No. the networks clock is based on atomic time. the atomict time signal changes with daylight savings time.
You can see the other numbers. you haven't played with it enough. make sure you set each number to diffrent type(home,main,work,ect...) then...
It works well and recognizes it right most of the time
the ECHO also has to do with the local network of cell towers. one theory I have come up with is that more than 1 tower is picking up the signal...
