I get five bars in my house and when Im at the college I go toI get all bars on my 3589i sorry to hear yours is having problems. :P
my advice on faceplate since ive changed many of them and im on my sixth cell phone is get oem if you can just becuase they are better made and fit.
its a nice phone built in games and 35 ringtones color screen is nice i havve the 3589i and it has no games on it .

i love my 3589i good phone just dont come with games like the 6015i does but it has more ringtones.
the 3587i is a good choice for a phone its is based like the others said on the 3589i which is the best for reception but the 3587i i believeit it...
all i know is my cousin works from home and designs alot of the games that are on cell phones now.

my sister had to get a new phone after she just got the vx4400 becuse her sound was shot on hers so she got a new vx4400 and now it good as can be.
take the phone back my sister had a bad phone she got at verizon she got it free and had to take it back to get a new one.,
I have the nokia 3589i and it has both the internal and external atennna and it picks up perfect even when im in class and i never use my external...
Hey you might also want to check out the nokia microfiber case its real quite like that case but it has different colors to choose from.

I had a 3285 and my new 3589i is a lot better sound quality i have no problem at all with the sound it sound great im in college so i have to have...
If i had a gsm service provider i would deffently look into this phone but for now my 3589i will do just fine.
