Thanks. I never needed to use the "mark forum read" icon before, and it wasn't very helpful to me, anyway.
I don't like the new time stamps (X hours, weeks, or days ago). It isn't detailed enough. Without the exact time, in the individual threads, it is...
Have you tried US Cellular (not just Verizon, roaming on them)? They seem to have a pretty strong network for rural Maine.
In the USA, incoming calls (from anywhere) just come out of the minutes you bought with your replenishment, there are no extra charges. You could...
I am surprised to hear that Alltel is activating numbers in Torrington CT. I thought the sell-off to Verizon was a done deal. Anyway, when the...
AT&T analog did not return, here.
Don't know about the L6i, but some Motorola Tri-Bands are actually Quad-Band capable, you have to do a seem edit to enable the 850 Mhz band. You...
Actually, I think AlltelU is quite generous with free roaming (on Verizon, Sprint, US Cellular, etc). I was looking at the AlltelU coverage map...
Here ya go! Total: $180.48 ($178.22 w/o PCS C Block)
I'm not sure of your meaning, here. AT&T prepaid most certainly does use all of the AT&T network (850 Mhz and 1900 Mhz), but not AT&T's roaming...
PA, NJ, NY, CT, RI, MA, AT&T has strong 850 Mhz coverage in all these places. Sorry, but I can't put much credit in a coverage report involving...
Actually, AT&T shows "best" coverage along most of steelville road, except the far west end. The Nokia 5300 is a tri-band phone. Did you get the...
Verizon's exclusive subway service is in DC. It is T-Mobile that has had service in the Boston subway. Years ago, Cingular used to be able to roam...
That phone wouldn't have the 850 Mhz band, which AT&T uses extensively. I would not recommend it for use, even with T-Mobile.
You are describing the Nokia 6340i. Just an FYI, the very first models of this phone (6340) did not do GSM 850 Mhz, only TDMA/AMPS at 850 Mhz. It...
Consumer Cellular uses AT&T's network. Their plans are OK (no MTM or N/W). Since it is GSM, a Verizon phone would not work with them.
The AT&T Tilt (Windows Smartphone) has built-in GPS.
The only GSM available in that area, would be from Unicel. It would be 850 Mhz only.
As more carriers start shutting off analog entirely (both a+b side carriers), I don't see much of a future for ARN, unless the digital carriers...
They are both very good. I think AT&T is a little better in MA/CT/RI, while Verizon, and roaming partners, is a little better in VT/NH/ME. Unicel,...
