You're right, I've heard of people flashing/felxing their V400 to a 600. I just wanted to keep mine 400. I might decide to do the 400 -> 600...
While we're on the subject of flax/flash, can you recommend a similar set for the V400?

Well my V600 operates on 850MHz most of the time (Cingular in the Chicago area) and roams on to ATT at 1900MHz. I haven't experienced any...
The V600 and two V400's I've gotten from Cingular are unlocked.
I've been with Cingular for over 8 years in the Chicago area (currently with the GSM Nation Plan) and have had no problems receiving and placing...

I'm in the South West suburbs (Downers Grove area). Unlike the last time, I'm not experiencing any problems with Cingular's time on my V600.
The Cinuglar time sync problem cleard up about a week ago here in the SW suburbs. My phone's clock is now showing the correct time.
I drive through Glenview frequently and never experience any problems using Cingular GSM.
I'm experiencing the same problem with Cingular - it's not just you.
Anyone know if Nokia makes, or plans to make, a quad-band phone covering 850, 900, 1800, and 1900MHz GSM frequencies? Thanks
