Vodafone Sandringham

This is a fairly ugly site, even by NZ standards. I remember being rather shell-shocked when I saw this one for the first time. I think they should take this down and re-do it.

      Close-up of Antennas. On LHS you can see 2x900MHz antennas, and on the RHS you can see 2x2100MHz antennas. There are also 2 microwave links -- the RHS one links to a main MW hub while the LHS one links to the new Wesley 3G site.

      A closer view of the back. You can see the site's power meter at the back. Also note how the cabinets are raised off the ground too. They do that at sites like this (i.e. local shops etc) I think to save space for parking cars etc.

      Wow that is a rather cheap looking site. I bet the owner gets some nice change for the site every month.
