Ugly Sprint/Nextel & T-Mobile tree

This one is at San Gabriel & Mission in the city of San Gabriel. Notice how Sprint and Nextel did their part and hid their antennas with foilage slip covers but for some reason T-Mobile did not. Also where's the bark on the tree trunk?

Larry, I'm proud of you. You're spotting the good stuff! Pretty soon you'll be a great a (perceived) terror as I. Naw, just kidding! -jlk

Also why does T-Mobile need to place antennas that are 20 feet tall like that on a tree that's relatively short? :D
