Did you come up here and not say hi? :D At least you were there at a decent time of day to get a nice pic. The MW link is aimed towards their Chatsworth Hub, but I've never seen a license for it.

I was actually on a trip to Pismo Beach and while driving through the area on 101, decided to take a quick pit stop. :D

You have to wonder why it took Sprint over 8 years to finally decide that they needed a tower to cover Topanga mall. Seems like they could have co-located on this one years ago or used the building across the street like Cingular/Pac Bell did.

Sprints coverage in that area was always sorta weak I guess they finally decided to build it out.

The only reason that there is a site on the building across the street is it (at the time) was a Pacific Bell CO and the cell site was for Pacific Bell Mobile Services. Through all the mergers and buy outs it's now owned by Cingular on an ATT CO. A lot of the old Pacific Bell central offices were used for sites since they were easy to set up at and obtain permits for.

Yep I noticed that just about every Pac Bell/SBC CO there is a circa 1996-97 cell site on the roof or a tower in the parking lot. Probably why they were able to complete their build out very quickly in the mid 90's.
