Hmm. Sprint has recently applied for a new site in Redondo Beach. I wonder if this is the site they were testing for?
    • Jonathan Kramer
Actually, they have several applications in at Redondo Beach, but yes, this is one of the sites where they've applied. They want to go on one of the SCE towers just north of the parking lot for the City's park. jlk

So is this one going in at Dominguez Park on Flagler and 190th?

It took over 3 years but this site was finally built and activated last month. I just posted a picture of it. That very outdated logo on the Sprint mini-van shows how long this has been in the works.

It took almost 4 years to throw up 3 panels on an existing structure? Wow.
    • Jonathan Kramer
Yeah, it surprised me that it took them this long; they had the approval long ago, but I presume they were waiting for capital budget money to build the site.

I visited the site 3 times from 2006-2008 hoping to find the site built and was disappointed each time. I was tipped off to it a couple of weeks ago so I knew this time it was up.
