The monopole has gone up in just the last few days. Today they were installing BTS equipment. It will be a T-Mobile site just west of State St at about 1700 South.

      Looking at compass maps, T-Mobile has good, but not best coverage so this site will definitely help. What carrier(s) do you have???

      This will be a good location for T-Mobile. It wouldn't hurt if Verizon Wireless also went up on this pole (my current provider). I recently paid Cingular an ETF to get off their horrific network.

      Join the club. Cingular's network along the Wasatch Front really isn't all that great. Voice quality is horrible. I used to carry around a Cingular phone for free M2M calls to my girlfriend but cancelled that since voice quality was horrible on both ends, unlike usually when I call her from my VZW phone when it's just horrible on one end(hers). T-Mobile also has done a great job building out their network and improving it.

      Late last week they put up the equpment. Earlier today they had guys out working on it. I bet they'll have this one turned on in no time now.
