Sandy Springs - Blue Heron Golf Club

Public safety tower hosting Cingular (former blue 1900, now orange 850/1900) and Metro PCS cell sites, a few hundred feet from my house! (This pic is a closeup of the panels.) Pics were taken from my deck.

You have a great view of those towers from your deck! I'm sure cell service with those two carriers is perfect he he.

      Yep...

Cingular -45 dBm EDGE, -60 dBm UMTS -- indoors
      Metro -60 dBm -- indoors

      :D

(VZW is -80 or so, T-Mobile and Sprint [both CDMA and iDEN] are -90 or worse)

The tower is prime site 2 for the north leg of the Fulton county public safety 800MHz analog trunked radio system. The state of Georgia is also planning to add a prime site to the new GEWIN (Georgia Emergency Wireless Interoperability Network) P25 Smartzone OmniLink radio system. It is unknown at this time if Fulton county is planning to give up their now 17 year old Smartnet analog system and merge the channels into GEWIN.

We miss you Stanley...there is a big void here...
