That's rather eye-catching... A big white thing on the middle of the roof. Ugly IMO.

I wouldn't have known that this was a cell site. It looks more like an air vent.

They do a lot of these in Seattle. I looked through the City's Land Use records and found a bunch of sites like this in Seattle.(since they are on a building the City requires a notice of proposed land use be filed) Mostly in the North End but there are a few in the South End.

In that case it's working perfectly...:browani:

Here's an excerpt from the building permit........

"Master Use Permit to establish use for installation of a minor communication utility (Cingular Wireless) on the roof of an existing apartment building. Project includes three rooftop antennas to be enclosed in a tubular shroud resembling a large vent stack and an equipment cabinet to be located in a ground floor storage room of the building."

They can be hard to find. (except for the one in Seattle posted by Jonathan Cramer..those stacks are more obvious)

Thanks for the info, here in Germany, they rarely go to the trouble to conceal sites as you may have seen in the Europe section.

I'm telling you, the look like giant auto battery terminals just waiting for an even larger battery jumper cable! -Jonathan Kramer
