Radiate Your Rocks - Overview

Here, in part, is the overview of the Rocky Peak boulder and camo sign site along SR118 going over to Simi Valley from the San Fernando Valley. The site is NOT secured by any barriers, but finding the right dirt path is more than trival. There are some close-up shots of one of the boulders here at WA.

      Nicely framed photo.

It's great to get an idea of what's located around the boulders as well.

Thanks, Chuikov. Actually, it's three photos stitched together. Can you tell were they are matched?

      I do so love Photoshop!

Shores, if you do a search on the gallery you'll find two more photos of the same site I posted several months ago. One show the inside of one of the rocks.

Nice picture and great to see you back on here, Jonathan!

Thanks, Andy. I've been lurking while study for next month's California Bar Exam. j

Nope. Again, well done. I thought it was a wide-angle lens or somethin.

I took the three photos by standing very still, snapping one picture, then rotating the upper portion of my body about 30 degrees, snapping photo 2, and repeating for the 3rd shot.

The first photo ends to the left of the boulder in the foreground. The third photos ends near the patch in the road. Both photos are vertically cropped. I used Photoshop to correct the lens distortions, and a bit of clone tool and healing tool to match the edges so they wouldn't show.

I don't know how to do the fancy photoshop stuff, but it's working for you.

I think Ted Knight once said: "Hey, How 'bout a Fresca?!"
    • Jonathan Kramer
I believe he was the only sane one at Mary's (Lou's) station. By the way, it's likely that Fresca Phone will depart later tonight. I'm planning on replacing it with a new photo of me in a hardhat. More on that later.

The Fresca must stay! How about a Fresca and the hardhat maybe?

Don't make the same mistake Dukakis did with the tank helmet!
