Im lost, how can y'all tell which tower belongs to which company? dont tell me u know just by looking at it, all towers ive seen are just silver, and why are some higher than others, is it cheaper for a shorter one than a higher one? and how can there be more than one company on the pole? cant a company like cingular have three levels all to them selves?

Welcome to WA, most of the time permanent towers have fenced-in perimeters with signs that contain contact information for the provider who has a setup at that location. Most of the time, the listed FCC ID on such a sign is a second method of determining who the licensee of that tower is.

That guy is missing half his hat

It was a full hat when we got to the race, but the speed of the cars ate the top half off. :D
That is one of my friends that goes with us each year.

Next time I am on site, I will get some shots of the FanView broadcast truck in the infield. I often work with that group (ESS-Nascar Operations) at Sprint-Nextel.

Well if you are back there June 2-4th 2007, let me know since I already have my tickets for the Sunday race & am getting tickets for the Busch race on Saturday, maybe we can hook up.
