New Sprint monopine in Santa Ana

This one is at Jerome Park and is one of many new Sprint sites in the City of Santa Ana Parks. Oddly I haven't seen any other carrier put up sites in those parks.

wow, this is a really great disguised monotree
    • 21RCA
Yes this is a well disguised site. Is that a COW off to the right?

That looks like it's just a portable generator
    • larry
Yes it's a portable generator. Don't know why they needed it.
    • TelcomJunkie
Because they have no commerical power yet, look at the meter can... there is no meter.
    • larry
Ahh ok. Hmm then how come they don't bring in generators for other sites under construction? I've seen others with no meter can sit for like 3 or 4 months inactive.
    • TelcomJunkie
Probably because they can't get the backhaul in for one reason or another. Also depends on the priority of the site as having a generator at a site for a month or more is very costly. If the site is desperately needed then carriers will deploy a generator to the location to get it up that much faster (Provided again they didn't have problems getting the backhaul in)

Tree looks great... I think if they had reduce the length of the antenna arms, it would be been perfect!

BTW... I also like the fact that there aren't any fencing around the tree, because honestly, how many trees have a barrier around it...
    • TelcomJunkie
On a similar note, how many trees are bolted to the ground? :D
    • blahblah92
Great tree other then the lack of bark
