New Metropcs Monopole

This is a new monopole put up my MetroPCS sometime in late December 2008-Early January 2009. The tower does not seem to be active yet.

I've never seen foot pegs top to bottom like that....they are foot pegs, right?

Purple sky = Metro PCS's color!

Those did look like foot pegs, but I didn't notice them until you said that. Im sure the tower will eventually be fenced in, and just is not now because of the construction.

Wow! MetroPCS actually builds their own cell towers!? That's amazing to me!! Around here they only co-locate on existing towers.

This is the first I have seen. Also, it's probably the only single carrier monopole or tower I have seen in lansing.

Well that's not surprising seeing as how many carriers are in Lansing and the amount of land area there is, there can only be so many towers. In the Saginaw area, I can't imagine where any new carrier would build a tower. Saginaw is surrounded with towers. Granted there are many coverage gaps with some carriers. But I would love to see MetroPCS build new towers around here that way other carriers could add on and better their coverage areas.
