Closest tower to U of D. Thank god Verizon added on this tower in April 2004, because they didn't work well at all before. ATT used to be above Verizon, but Cingular took that down very fast.

I never saw AT&T on this site and I have to look back at my 35mm pictures from 2003. I though BAM was always on this site? I know VoiceStream is on the electrical transmission pole inside the strip mall. There is a rooftop site next to said mall but I don't know who it is or even if it is cell phone related (could be sectorized SMR). I need to consult my notes for New Castle County.

The site used to be Cingular, ATT, Nextel. Verizon added here in April 2004 which finally brought some coverage inside UD buildings. Yup, T-Mobile is on that power pole in a weird microcell configuration (double really). The rooftop site is Sprint, though you'd never find it anywhere. I only know that due to my mom and dad's old Virgin phones. They recently made it a 1 panel per sector so that confirms it is Sprint.

Wierd. I will check out my 35mm pictures next time I get access to them. That one panel per sector site, this is what I have:

330 E. Main St., Main Towers rooftop

In Newark, near the mall. Just wanted to make sure we are seeing the same thing. I'll take a look at my pictures and see if I have a picture of that site. I always thought it was an AT&T Wireless GSM only site (since those always used only one antenna per sector). I didn't get great readings with my Sprint PCS test phone.

The Omnipoint site is a full bore macro. Dual cabinets for extra capacity and battery run time.

I bolded my responses and I still have to type stuff down here. :loony:
