Wow, I've heard of landscape features being removed to make way for new sites, but never heard of the opposite. Must be some pretty expensive real estate

I assume the site is to be re-located? I hope the coverage doesnt suffer from the relocation!

      James:

The proposal is to relocate the three carrier, and add two more, in a new cellular barn, silo, and water tank. The new facility is proposed about 100 meters north of this site.

I wonder how common it is for carriers to have to re-locate their sites for new development or other reasons? I've never seen it happen before.

Larry, It's happening more and more often. Many of the old collocation leases from the 80's are running out. Some of the tower leases have gotten to be too expensive due to high annual increases, and some of the rooftops have had to be replaced due to the buildings being torn down, foreclosed or rennovated.

Technology changes and mergers have led to site decommissioning, combining or moves in my area.
