If I can identify this correctly. that little dish half way down the tower is am XM or Sirius satellite radio relay...correct?

      I just dont get why they would need a repeater in this area. It's all flat land.

      Sorry if this is a dumb question, but why would satellite radio need repeaters on the ground? I thought that satellite radio is actually just picked up from satellites...???

      Well, I know that in cities like NY, you do not have a clear view of the sky and without the repeaters, you would have no reception, or very little reception. As for why they need them all the way out here... :confused:
