      These displays are in all the cars? That's a cool idea especially giving all that information, I guess at those speeds it's the best way to find out where you are.

      It's different for each ICE generation. ICE 1s use this display setup as well. ICE 2s and ICE 3s have a mixed bag. Most trains of these ICE generations have the info displayed in the pic and they also have 2 red neon displays in the large, open main seating area of each car (one on each end of the seating area, look at the links I mentioned in the RZ, one of the sites has seating schematics for each ICE generation).

      The display lists the origin of the ICE train and all stops along the way to its final destination, which in this case was Basel SBB in Switzerland.

      Hbf=Hauptbahnhof, Main Train Station
      SBB=Schweizer Bundesbahn, Swiss National Rail
