GSP North MM 108.1 COW

This is a T-Mobile COW which they have all along the GSP, I still don't understand the logic in them keeping these vs getting towers put up.

Those COWs have been there at least 2 years, maybe longer right?

Absolutly longer. They have been there for as long as long as I can remember noticing cellular sites.

I think they have been there for at least 4-5 years. I was talking to a tech once & they have a guy ride up & down the GSP filling the generators up with fuel daily.

Wow...this has to be more expensive for them than to co-locate or built their own site...are zoning regulations strict there maybe?
    • Fire14
It does have to cost them a good penny to do this, I don't know what the reason for it is, since these are on the GSP & they usually are pretty good about allowing the towers to be built, it could be the costs to run the power & T-1 lines to where these locations are.
Most aren't that far from permanent towers.
