E-Plus, Breslauer Platz 2, Cologne

Dual-antenna GSM 1800 setup on top of the Four Points Sheraton Hotel by the main train station in downtown Cologne. T-Mobile (microcells only, GSM 900) and O2 (GSM 1800) are also on top of the building. I don't know which one is which, though.

Cool picture ShoresGuy. Keep the pics coming. ;)
    • ShoresGuy
      Thanks, I won't disappoint you :D.

I'm a little late, lol, but I don't think that the microcells would be the panels, unless I'm mistaken.

I don't know where the T-Mobile microcells are either ( http://www.fst-gsm.de/d1-k.html lists them as microcells ), normally German microcells mounted as a box (Roncalliplatz) or as a short dual stub antenna (Kaufhof and Mediamarkt, all 3 are Vodafone examples :D) as you can see here:

Wolfgang Duven from duven.de has a very precise pic of where the D2 panels are hidden at that Four Points Sheraton Hotel:

I guess whoever has the room for the night has great D2 coverage ;) I've never seen panels hidden in a balcony. Very interesting.
And I agree on your description of normal microcells ;)

I don't know, for some reason the idea of sleeping right next to a cellular antenna isn't quite my idea of fun.
    • Andy
For us it would probably be interesting. We wouldn't get any sleep cause we'd be researching/taking pictures, running field test, etc. :D
    • ShoresGuy
LOL, we'd be dressed up as the crazy scientists or as the nutty professor while running those tests.
    • Gamer03
Lol......that would be pretty funny to see.
    • ShoresGuy
Which role would you prefer :D?
    • Gamer03
      I don't know.

      Which roles are available? Lol!!
