      This only serves as a 1x voice and data tower (No EVDO). LTE is going to be their 4G network. Notice the different size antennas. Larger is for CDMA and smaller is for 4G .Verizon is actively adding 4G is the Bay Area.

      Weird, I thought I read that the LTE antennas were very large, even bigger than CDMA. Any idea why there is no EVDO on this tower?

      Unknown why there is no 3G. They redesigned this tower about a year ago prior to adding the 4G antennas I guess to make it blend in with the surrounding business's. I thought this was a Nextel when I first saw it due to the design but, looking closer, it has Verizon markings. They don't put 3G antennas on every tower. I don't know why. The larger antenna's have always been there. They are putting smaller 4G antenna's on most of their towers, I've noticed.
