      What an awful mounting design!

      There are those amplifier things behind the panels if you look closely. In my area, Cingular is the only carrier to use those amplifier things- they use them on their 1900 panels I think.

      So i went by this site on saturday. i stopped in the dunkin donuts p-lot and waked over. those panels are removed and it looks like they have been moved to the center to the building with a fake brick structure around them. the odd thing was there were two active power emters. one said "AT&T wireless" and the other power meter said "Cellular one meter". Both meters were active, i did not hav emy camera but may be in the area again soon so i will make sure to get a pic next time.

      They redesigned the cell site about a year ago. It's a lot nicer than that picture above. I haven't been in that area in quite some time. I'll take a shot of it the next time I am in that area. The second power meter may be for the 3G antennas. :twocents:
