Cerritos Town Center

Cingular's installation inside this clocktower monument is quite attractive.

Very nice. Again, would you know this is a cellsite unless you really know? Are there any obvious signs of this being a cellsite?

Andy, this one was tricky, even for me. It looked right, and had a door at the bottom, but no markings. Because I work for governments, a quick phone call to Cerritos City Hall produced the confirmation. Clearly a very good design.

Very good design, but I guess something does look fishy if there's a clocktower right in the middle of a parking lot for no apparent reason.

Actually, this tower is located in an employee parking lot behind the shopping mall. The location is against the freeway, hence it's valuable location for the carrier.

Yeah, I see the freeway in the back. I guess they're killing two birds with one stone- covering the mall and part of the freeway well with one location.

I wonder how much it costs to building an elaborate site like this.

      Any ideas?

If it had been a sign for the shopping center rather than just a clock tower it might evade most trained eyes.

I wonder myself how much something like this would cost.

I've actually taken my own pictures of this site when it was being built a couple of years ago. The tower was actually a join venture between Sprint and Cingular with Sprint being the owner of the site. They split the cost of construction.
