Cellular Bison

First captured at WA by RadioBill, here is a general area photo taken this afternoon (3/23/06) with an 8Mpix camera. According to RadioBill, this is a VZW site. It's about 1 mile south of the Wy border on I25. I'll have more photos posted at my site tomorrow. Photo by my employee, Steve Allen.

By the way, this photo is taken in Colorado looking south along I25 from just below the Wyoming border.

I'm glad to see this perspective...I was having a hard time imagining the surrounding area.
It looks like there is plenty of room for more. Some other carriers should install Bisons to make a herd.

Joe, you're right. There are many hill tops for more interesting sites. I'm in favor of a very large BLUE OX (perhaps we could call the ox, hummm, "Babe"?) that would offer multiple co-lo opportunities.

There are a few more photos at my site that are higher res. Is there a way to permit some larger pixtures in the gallery. I always shoot very high res (read: large pixel count and file sizes), and I'm running up against the u/l size limits.

Well how big are we talking? Dimensions and file size.

Joe, my usual large photos are 2-3MB and typically 2100x1600-ish in size. The gallery chokes when I try to u/l such large files. If I do the IMG route, do I still get credit for the upload?

Awesome picture. Thank you for sharing.
Like Joe said, it's nice to see the surroundings and makes it a little easier to picture.

yes that is a nice view, from far away.

I would think to myself that that is a huge bison

Did some drive testing in that area for Verizon but never saw that site.
