Great photos! I always thought of CBC as the Canadian BBC ;).

I'll assume you were fully authorized to be up there. An emergency call no doubt!

      Lol,

I was actually escorting a group of 4 people who are interested in shooting some kind of movie up there. They rented the largest of the 3 TV studios located in the CBC/MMC Ateliers building for a couple weeks to shoot some scenes on their own set. It's some kind of space/sci-fi movie and they want to use the dishes as a backdrop and then add on some background through CG/postproduction effects editing.

I was just there to make sure they didn't touch the dishes or get too close to the roof. This wasn't connected to my volunteer unit at the fire department, it was at my workplace ;).

I'm shocked, bur not really surprised by the lack of interest in these photos. Conflicted might be a good word.

Sometimes it takes people a wee bit of time to pick their way through these pics :)

Another cool picture of the dishes by SG.

      Keep them coming! :D

I won't be going up to the roof for a while, the shooting was done in a matter of two hours 2 weeks ago.

      Ok.

Well, thanks for the pictures that you took while up there. :D
