Let me guess: T-Mobile is located on the wall of the building, Sprint/NEXTEL is the left set of panels on the building and Cingular is the right?

Andy, The sector in the middle with four antennas (three different types) is Cingular. The pair on the wall and on the right are probably T-Mobile, like you said. I can't tell what would be Sprint/Nextel. the jumble on the left is hard to see, but it looks like other sectors belonging to T-Mobile and Cingular.

Anyway, thanks for posting this one clock! I remember this one from a few years back. It was a pain to work on because most of the structure is wood and there is really no good way to get stuff up to the roof and few good places to put heavy things. I think that generator is new (?) and I'm a little shocked that it's up there.

Ok is this some of Cingular's old 850 equipment? I though that Nextel sites had 4 panels a sector, but ive been proven wrong! So its just Cingular/T-mobile on this one. As for the generator, i wouldnt be surprised if this is for the electrical supply store beneath the site.

Isn't it unusual to see a generator of that size on a roof?

Cingular has both 850 and 1900 GSM at the site, and it looks like the old TDMA antennas are still there too. The middle two antennas are the GSM. We worked on adding GSM to this site a few years ago and had to set up a crane in the lot to hoist the cabinets up there.

It was a similar deal at the hospital in Dorchester, the Herald bldg and the school next to Franklin Park. It was a pain in the butt, but also fun working up there.

the herald buidling site i saw on 93 the other day. Ill try see if i can find those sites that you mentioned, and was it Carney Hospital u were talking about or Boston Medical Center.
