      Yes there are fires there. In fact just a couple of years ago this location just barely got missed by a big fire.

      What are the 'pine needles' made out of on these type of towers? Metal or plastic or ???

      I remember a couple of small branches once fell off a tower I visited and I picked one up. The needles felt like plastic to me.

      The antennas look rather obvious on this site! Not really a good effort, but apart from that the rest of the tree is done quite well!

      This pic was taken while still under construction (notice the missing branches at bottom). I think they added more branch slip covers on the panels after this was taken.
