I am considering purchasing an existing location that currently sells Sprint, Nextel, Verizon, and a few pre-paid services that I havent seen in the past. 1. Is there money I have to pay these providers to sell their products or do I just make commisions off of what I sell in activations and phones 2. This store was closed for close to a year before reopening and the location does a killer business in accys. but hasnt done too well in activations..are there minimums in activations to keep selling the service and am I going to get burned with a "fine" or something at some point because of all the time no activations were sold? |

You will probably have to sign new contracts with those carriers, unless you are becoming a sub agent of the prior owner. Even then, not all carriers allow sub agents, and it's not always a good idea to go that route.
