On the second picture it shows a "3G" connection... Verizon phones usually show "EV" if there is a EVDO signal... Are they now going to start saying "3G" instead? Or did the graphic designer who did the photo overlook that detail? What will it show for a 1XRTT connection? "1X"? Back when I had the G1 it would show "E" for EDGE and "G" for GPRS |

The "Droid" is being released in Europe as the "Milestone"...GSM/UMTS version, of course Coming next week to O2 in Germany: http://www.engadgetmobile.com/2009/1...ola-milestone/ specs here: http://www.motorola.com/Consumers/XW...LESTONE-XW.alt ...unfortunately, looks like 3G on 900 and 2100 only, so no US 3G compatibility

I'm getting one from my B2B rep. He says he likes it, but it's a bit laggy and too bulky for his taste. I'll just have to reserve judgement for myself when I get mine. I generally don't like huge phones and I'd rather have a full touchscreen as good as the 3Gs instead of a pull out keyboard. But that's just my preference. BTW: I have the 3G indicator on my Verizon Wireless Storm 1 thanks to a non official OS:
