| 2009 Wireless Smartphone and Traditional Mobile Phone Satisfaction Studies | J.D. Power and Associates October 8, 2009 Apple ranks highest among manufacturers of smartphones used primarily for personal reasons, with a score of 811, and performs particularly well in ease of operation, operating system, features and physical design. LG (776) and RIM BlackBerry (759) follow Apple in the rankings. Among customers who use their smartphones primarily for business purposes, Apple ranks highest with a score of 803, followed by RIM BlackBerry (724) The iPhone also held the top spot six months ago, when it blew away competition like Research in Motion (RIM) and LG, and its lead has only grown more dominant in the latest numbers.

I'm not surprised. The iPhone is a great device, even if it isn't for everybody. I'm excited by all of the new smartphones available now. This is one of many to choose from.

If JD Powers sank in a boat together with all the iPhones in the world, I don't think I'd shed a tear ...personally, I prefer BlackBerry's, but to each their own

Well what's new here? with sales outpacing everybody else it's not a surprise that the iPhone tops the list. What's funny is that the iPhone is topping the list, while AT&T bottoms it. LOL!
